Meet the Doctors

Drs. Irwin and Uma Mulnick are licensed Chiropractic Physicians serving McCall and the surrounding communities.  They have been providing pain relief and natural wellness care in Idaho since 1990. As Chiropractors with decades of experience, Drs. Mulnick are committed to promoting the optimal health and well being of  their patients.

Drs. Irwin and Uma Mulnick use a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of  ill-health or "dis-ease", and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, the doctors are able to help the patient to accelerate and/or maintain their journey to good health.

Dr. Irwin Mulnick

Dr. Irwin Mulnick graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Biology before graduating from Western States Chiropractic College in 1986.  Years ago he competed in the game of Ultimate Frisbee and was on teams that won the US National and World Championships in the Masters division(over35), and competed on Open Division teams that went to the US National Championships 3 times.  His love of being active and playing sports, as well as working with athletes, led him to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).  Additionally, Dr. Irwin sees many patients that have been injured in auto accidents and on-the-job injuries.

Since moving to McCall, Dr. Irwin has been very involved in the community as a soccer coach in the youth program and with the outdoor hockey rink.  He prefers to spend his free time being active and outdoors either skate-skiing, snow-boarding, biking, hiking and playing hockey.  He enjoys playing guitar and playing family games when indoors.

Dr. Uma Mulnick

Dr. Uma Mulnick graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1982.  Initially Dr. Uma was considering becoming a "midwife" but chose to "take care of the whole body and not be limited to the birthing process.  As a result, she has a strong passion for the "women's health" component of her practice, offering women's health exams (paps, hormone balancing, etc).  Additionally, she always is asking "what more can I do for my patient," which led her to receive her "Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists" (DABCI), and in 1990 she became Certified in Acupuncture (FIAMA).  She has also become a certified NAET (Allergy Elimination Technique) practitioner.

In her free time, Dr. Uma enjoys her new granddaughter, painting mandalas, snowboarding, skate-skiing, hiking, quilting, knitting and spending time with family and friends.

Drs. Irwin and Uma together

In addition to the individual specialties of the doctors, both employ a focus on nutrition and the other factors that influence whole body wellness.  As blood work-ups are a great internal map of what is going on in the body, the doctors utilize this information along with current symptoms, detailed history and physical examinations to individualize treatment programs for the patients well being and health.  The doctors work individually, and as a team together, with the patient to offer the best care for the patient to reach their health goals and optimal health.
